Membership Categories and Dues

REMA Membership is available to all companies and organizations that supply, generate, purchase, sell, advocate or promote renewable energy.

Prospective members include, but are not limited to: green power and REC marketers, utilities, renewable energy project developers, and consumers of renewable energy and Renewable Energy Certificates.

Sustaining Members

The Sustaining Member class is for leading organizations in the voluntary renewable energy market. Sustaining Members include green power and REC marketers, utilities, and solar PV manufacturers, among others. The benefits of the Sustaining Member class include, but are not limited to:

• Full voting rights and a seat on the REMA Board of Directors
• Appointment to any REMA subcommittee(s)
• Access to all public and private documents, publications, and web resources produced by REMA

Supporting Members

The Supporting Member class is for organizations who find the voluntary market for renewable energy to be an important part of their business. Supporting Members should be actively involved or planning to be involved in the voluntary market. The benefits of the Supporting Member class include, but are not limited to:

• Appointment to any REMA subcommittee(s)
• Access to all public and private documents, publications, and web resources produced by REMA

Consumer Members

The Consumer Member class includes consumers and potential consumers of renewable energy and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Members eligible for this class cannot sell or intend to sell any purchased or generated renewable energy to third-parties.  The benefits of the Consumer Member class include, but are not limited to:

• Access to all public documents, publications, and web resources produced by REMA
• Attendance rights to REMA monthly membership calls and Annual Membership Meeting
